Hi- I'm Suzy Wiest of Fancy That Photography. I recently moved to the Wimberley, TX area after operating a photography business and studio in the Temple, Belton, and Salado area for the past 5 years under the name "Portraits by Suzy". I now serve all of Central Texas, including Wimberley, Dripping Springs, Kyle, Buda, San Marcos, and all points in between. My services include wedding, family, children, baby and senior photography. I have photographed many weddings in the central Texas area including Tenroc, Vineyards at Florence, and many other Salado and Temple/Belton venues. I would now like to concentrate on photographing in my local area. People often ask me how I got into photography. I think a lot of times they suspect that I will say I started taking pictures of my kids. The truth is, my kids have very few photos of them. No, actually my sister who is a wedding photographer gave me the opportunity for a career and I kind of took off from there. I see a lot of photographer's bios and they usually begin with how they have always loved photography. They were born with a camera in their hand. Well I didn't fall in love with photography until much later. My love for photography is a little different from others as well. My inspiration does not come from just making pretty pictures. So, therefore I don't take many pictures of flowers. I get excited with photography when I can show someone how beautiful they are. I know, the cliche that everyone is beautiful, blah, blah. Well, I really see it. My favorite client is the one who comes to me and says they have never taken a good picture. They hate pictures of themselves. Then when they come to view their images after a session and get so excited about how beautiful they are, I can't help it. My eyes well up and I think my heart's about to leap out.
