Arender Films

My name is John Arender and I have been specializing in wedding day films since 2015. I filmed my first wedding as a favor to some dear friends of mine and quickly realized that there wasn't a better job that I could have. Being a part of someone's wedding, one the happiest days of their lives, is not something that I take lightly or for granted. It's an honor to be able to capture the joining of two families and the start of another. I love what I do; capturing those who love each other.

I offer three different packages that allow couples to pick exactly how they want their wedding day story told. Arender Films is different from other wedding videographers as each package includes an edited highlight film (4-7 minutes) and access to the unedited footage. In addition,

Package I ($1,500) allows me to capture the most important parts of your wedding day story. It is six hours of coverage and includes an edited highlight film (4-7 minutes) and a USB drive of the unedited footage.

Package II ($2,000) lets me capture almost every aspect of your wedding story. It is eight hours of coverage + an add-on (from the list below) for no additional charge. The edited highlight film (4-7 minutes) and a USB drive of the unedited footage are also included.

Package III ($3,500) lets Arender Films tell the story of your wedding day from beginning to end. It contains unlimited hours of coverage, a second shooter, family interviews (generally done after rehearsal the day before), and unique shots that you won’t find in my other packages.

I have several add-ons that can enhance my services and let your vision of your wedding film come to life. These add-ons include:

• Second shooter ($300)
• Rehearsal dinner Coverage ($300)
• Additional ceremony camera ($200)
• Additional Hour ($200)
• Reception Interviews ($500), excluded from Package II free add-on
• Blu-ray copy of highlight film ($25)

I love to add drone footage to wedding day films, but I can only do that when the second shooter add-on is selected because I don't want to miss a thing when capturing your day. When I have a second shooter with me, they can shoot while I fly the drone!

I am based in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, but I love to travel and meet new people. For weddings in Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, and West Florida, I charge $0.54/mi after 200 miles roundtrip. For weddings in Tennessee, Georgia, Arkansas, and East Texas, I charge a flat $400 travel fee.

If you’re outside of these areas, don't worry! I love to fly. You’d be responsible for my plane ticket (I love cheap airlines like Spirit and Frontier) and a rental car for a day or two. I know that planning a wedding takes extreme attention to detail, so I’d be more than happy to find your cheapest options when it comes to booking transportation.
